We recommend warm, water-resistant clothes and footwear. There’s safety suits, boots and gloves in the boat.

Fishing trip example

At 13 o’clock, arrival at Vimpasaari property in Hamina. After a welcome drink, the destination is Gulf of Finland. Depending on the season and the weather, we spin, cast nets or ice fish.
It’s possible to catch pike, whitefish, trout, perch, herring and common roach.
Fishing school where you learn how to handle and prepare freshly caught fish in Rakinkotka, followed by coffee and salmon sandwiches around campfire. We then taste the fish we just caught and continue fishing. It is also possible to spend some time in Rakinkotka, where you can hike the ancient Viking trail, watch the birds, or play golf in the forest.
Traditional Finnish sauna or unique sauna in a rock. Towels and shampoo included. There’s a beach for swimming and a hot tub.
Outdoor dinner. Tomato-basil soup for first course. Freshly wood-smoked salmon finished on outdoor fire, served with tartar dressing, salad, campfire potatoes and freshly baked bread for second course. Coffee and pancakes with jam for dessert.
